Like all old men, I love to watch a train and the Gundy sucks train is coming full force.
Not sure RE Mason, but I knew he was gonna be a bu$t! Gleason was recruited by Rutgers HC Shiano to return home then got the boot after 2 seasons I think it was.
He probably wanted Brandon Weeden to redshirt back in the day when he thought Alex Cate was gonna be special.
Say it LOUDER for the Gumby lovers!
@taishan It wonât be Gunnar, he wonât even call Mike back, hah hah.
Heard today from a couple starting WRs, they are tired of Bowman. They said - he panics, misses guys, and is cocky. This was a surprise to me.
Hey âChampâ,
Just a thought, being intellectually dishonest isnât as attractive as you think it isâŚ
Stay blessed.
Hey champ,
Dishonest?
You donât like restaurant, you complain. Restaurant doesnât change. You stop going.
You donât like car, you complain. Car doesnât change. You stop buying those cars.
You donât like football team, you complain. Football team doesnât change. You keep religiously watching team, going to games, buying the merchandise, driving traffic at fansites and have the audacity to take umbrage that anyone else âsupportsâ the team in some magic way that you arenât?
Yeah Iâm the intellectually dishonest one. Well, I guess youâd have to be capable of reasoning this out to be intellectually dishonest. Youâre just clueless. The person who says they still support the team and keeps watching is the one whose actions match their words.
Gleesonâs departure was the same time Dunn was promoted to be OC because they didnât want to lose his recruiting. It feels like Gundy chose Dunn over Gleeson or told Gleeson that Dunn would be a co-OC or something and Gleeson wasnât ok with it. Not saying Schiano didnât also recruit him, but maybe Gleeson was open to leaving or had his agent putting his feelers out.
All that to say, I wonder if he was encouraged to leave and found a landing spot. It doesnât feel like Gundyâs out to shame his staff when he lets them go and tries to let them exit gracefully. Thatâs just the vibe I get.
Maybe, but didnât seem like D-line coach and oSu alum Greg Richmond got the same treatment. Got let go late so no chance to find another jobâŚ
He was told months before it became public.
I have some very close sources that say the QB room, overall, is not very good. People want to see Flores (and I do, too), but he is not ready. I donât know if heâd be worse than Bowman or Rangel, but heâs no better. The best pure QB at OSU is Maealiuaki Smith, but heâs a true freshman and we all know how Gundy feels about freshmen quarterbacks. Plus, he needs more time to bulk up (heâs listed at 6â 4" and 185, but probably is closer to 175âthatâs pretty underweight to be able to take a sack at this level.
Again, not having quality players and depth is on the coaches, particularly the offensive coordinator and the QB coach. There is no justification for Bowman starting two years at OSU. They shouldâve went and found a better player in the portal to give the youngsters time to grow. That is 100% on the coaching staff, including Gundy.
Not sure about Flores either and agree on Smith. Smith looks like the best QB recruit since SS. I heard from a coach on the staff that this QB fiasco was pure daddy ball and was setup by not recruiting over Gunner Gundy.
I didnât even scan your retort.
But, from your butt hurt tone, youâre likely delusional as well.
Heâs not ready? Is Bowman? Is Rangel? Weâve seen what those two can do, not impressed. Some guys play better than they practice. Flores should get a start and play until the bed is full of poop like theyâve done for Bowedunder a couple of times this season already!
Hey champ,
How do you know my tone if you didnât even scan my response? Are you psychic? Do you collect meditation crystals? Can you tell me this weekâs Powerball numbers.
No, you got ranked, knew it, and pretended you didnât see it to act like you were above it.
