Yes, @Helper, please elaborate on why Gunnar is better than Rangel

Gunnar is being molded to be the QB. Similar to when I told you May was a P5 talent, you’re gonna have to take my word on this one. Gundy talked about how they have extra reps in practice specifically for the 3’s. They’re all going to Gunnar. I’m not being smug about it. I just know for certain they are grooming Gunnar. His recruiting was similar to Drake Stoops. He had talent to garner more offers, but people knew where he was going. He’s a lot better than people think. I really think he will be similar to Kellen Moore from Boise. But take away my opinion on Gunnar and I still believe that Rangel won’t ever be the starter. He’s only 1 year separated from Shane. He would have to sit 3 or 4 years and then MAYBE get the startling job. That’s not happening. I also think they’ll bring in a transfer too.

Honestly, sign me up for Gunner being good and taking over at QB. Maybe he’ll set some records here like his dad did.

Idk that he’s a record setter, but with all the talent they have coming in on offense, I think he’s a reliable game manager that might be all you need with those guys.

Honestly, that’s all we need. If I was confident Spencer could do that I’d feel a lot better about our chances of winning the conference.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but “Gunnar is being groomed to be the QB of the future” isn’t the same argument as “Gunnar is a better QB than Rangel”, especially when we’re talking about the head coach who started Alex Cate over Brandon Weeden and Daxx Garman over Mason Rudolph.

Sweet, let’s do it.

That’s fine. From what I’ve seen, Gunnar is as good or better than Rangel. Just take that part as my opinion, time will tell.

I always though manginos qb at Kansas was a lot like kellen moore

Reesing?

I think so. Normal physical attributes but good IQ and technique

if Rangel sits for this long it won’t be behind Shane

Why? I’m not arguing. Curious what you mean by that.

Sophomore or Junior year is usually when it gets serious.

How involved during sophomore years?

Depends on the recruit.
