Its aligned with what I’ve been told from the beginning. (part of that was straight from his mom) Say what you want about his ability, but there isn’t anyone on that team who wants it more than Rangel.

Bowman rightfully won the job in conference play, but Rangel was arguably pinned to be the starter after the first two games. Then the coaching staff boned him massively vs USA and derailed everything for him.

Wow, Coach Glass has really changed Zane’s body! I hope Zane gets a chance at some QB2 reps. His decision-making was really impressive in high school, and he mechanically throws a really nice looking ball. Plus the dude easily wins the hair award

Not true that Rangel was ever the starter. The offensive staff told Bowman he was the starter a couple of weeks into fall camp. Then Gundy apparently came in and said that there was going to be the QB rotation thing anyway.

No, I said arguably pinned to be. Like the fanbase was arguing over it. He “started” game 1, played well in his first two games, and then never touched the field in any sort of meaningful capacity ever again the remainder of the year. Even Gunnar got to.
