Fāk everybody but us. I donāt care how any other Big 12 school does in their non-con.
I care how every other school does, solely because I canāt trust Gundy to win a conference title but heās gotten there a billion times and that would be enough for the playoff if the conference makes itself look good. I donāt want to be seen as being in a cupcake conference. Once they get into conference play though Iād be cool with tech and Colorado losing every game by 50.

I understand your reasoning. And I agree with it logistically. But I just really donāt want to root for other teams in conference to winā¦. Iām petty. For example: USC winning just kills OU fans. Iām here for it. Brian Kelly lost. Shouldnāt have complained about our QR codes. Worry about your own team, Coach. See? Petty.

I also get the thought process, but I donāt care how our conference is perceived. The only thing OSU can control is OSU, besides, the die is cast anyway with the perception so when I decide who to root for, that normally wonāt be a big consideration for me.

I get both sides. I just want the justification to get 2 teams in the playoff as much as possible. And more merit for our conference gets OSU more money and better playoff seeding. So a good conference benefits OSU.

I guess thatās where weāll have to differ. Youāre with the glass is half full group as if thereās a chance at any point to have Big XII football perceived nationally as good and competitive with the other big conferences. Iām in the glass is half empty group.

Al claimed that he was at othellos after OUs game and there were ESPN people in there that told him if OU and Tennessee are undefeated, gameday is going to go to Norman. No idea if thatās true.
Probably is. Why wouldnāt they? ESPN just shelled out a *hit ton of money to get in bed with the SEC. Have to promote their product. Iād rather they stay the hell away.
