Anyone that pays attention to preseason bowl predictions has way to much time on their hands.
They say we are winning the conference joy , doesn’t that excite you :flushed:

Every time they predict us to win the conference we get 3rd or lower. You’re right. We shouldn’t look too much into preseason predictions.

Why post this garbage on this site. If we want to read loser predictions, we know how to find them. The Cowboys are going to be Big 12 champs and end up in the playoffs.

I like the confidence. I think it’s possible, but it only takes a few errors to tumble.

Well, this kind of fires me up. I think we can do better than the Alamo Bowl this year, which seems to be the consensus. Sometimes some slight disrespect is exactly what a team needs to stay motivated. I know as a fan it is more fun to think about your team proving people wrong rather than praying not to lose. We will be in the mix for the conference title. As Jake4 just said, it will only take a few “errors” to keep us from winning it, but I think we have just as good or better of a shot than anyone else in the Big 12 this year.

I think this year will be a season of upsets and unpredictable outcomes. Big 12 maybe very open this year. I’m not trolling Texas but they may be lucky to reach a bowl game. Nebraska may give OU a run for their money while possibly giving them a loss along with some other big12 teams. SEC maybe the easiest to predict as far as the bowl games go. I wish I knew where I could lay some money down on some football games at.

Yikes, after the Sugar Bowl the rest of the bowls are less than prestigious.
If Texas remains Texas as of late, then I think we end up 3rd place in Big 12. If OU is not OU because of the loss of Lincoln Riley, then we contend for the championship. Still hard to believe we couldn’t punch it in against Baylor.

Bad memories back now lol… Still wondering why we didn’t put it in Sanders hands on a QB boot action play. Baylor is stacked at nose tackle this year.

Also still wondering why Baylor didn’t get a penalty for delay of game on the defense for trying to call a timeout with no time outs left. Sanders was try to snap the ball and knew it too. Not too many people noticed that I guess.

True. Anytime we can keep Sanders from throwing the ball it should be considered a good thing. Otherwise he will just throw a pick.

I hope so, but we seem to more often than not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the biggest ones.
