Gundy now has stated multiple times that he was not pleased with the play calling. Can we read between the lines and take this as questioning Dunn as the right man for the job?

Bowman’s quotes about Utah in Cover 1 blows my mind and makes my head hurt … “That was the first time we had seen that all year — fall camp or not”.
Utah is no stranger on incorporating Cover 1 into its defensive schemes. How was that not part of the practice plans? Why is that not being called out / adjusted for? I get that you won’t be perfect and you have a short amount of time to prep, but ZERO exposure to it leading up to the game including fall camp? SMH. What a horrible job scouting and preparing.

Look at the picture at the top of the article. Now look at his feet. Therein lies the problem. If he can’t set his feet at this point in his career after being told a million times year after year then it ain’t ever gonna happen.

Dunn is terrible. He’ll show you signs that he’s figured it out and then your best playmaker won’t see the ball for quarters at a time.

That’s good, cause not many oSu fans are that positive except those drinking the Kool-Aid. Hope Flores stays around, but doesn’t seem like the coaches trust him or something.
What you guys forget is that Gundy has to lose first before he’ll change anything. This happened last season as well. They don’t see it as an issue if your offense looks lethargic against decent opponents and you barely win. They might only take it seriously when they lose, and a lot of that depends on who it’s against.

Gundy’s washed up. Here’s the problem. No other problem. Nothing else to blame. He’s getting worse. It’s only down hill from here. Early losses has been a thing lately. It was funny to listen to people say he was going to run this conference now that ou and Texas was gone lol. This man can’t beat Iowa State back to back. Wake me up when this guy puts his retirement paperwork in.

Wonder if gundy was right when he states that his system runs itself? Looks like it does with all the patterns that we see every year. Wonder what he does outside of game day while his system is running his team? Clown.
Everyone forgets that OU and Texas were not major factors in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014 2021, 2022. Texas had been terrible and OU has had year sprinkled in between where they weren’t the same OU.
Conference winners:
2012- K State
2013- Baylor
2014- Baylor
2021- Baylor
2022- K State
That’s five times since we won our last conference title. That’s five times OU and Texas weren’t a factor. We had chances to win two more (2013, 2021) and we fell flat one faces. Gundy is not a championship caliber coach, and I don’t know what else he has to do in proving to his own fan base he isn’t.
The only time Gundy is going to get close to winning another conference title is if he has an excellent assistant that knows offense or defense, keep in mind the two best defenses Gundy had was 2013 and 2021, of course, he still failed. Gundy didn’t even come close to winning it last season. Dunn and Nardo got completely school in for he entire first half that Texas just had to coast the rest of the time.
Let me remind our kool aid drinkers here again. Gundy is NOT possibly winning the conference again UNLESS he finds an excellent OC or DC. That’s how it’s historically been, and that’s how it will be.
