Unfortunately, he went to a team that’s stacked at WR. Fortunately, that same team showcased him in the preseason. He should get claimed

Eh… are the Rams “stacked” at receiver? They have a lot of bodies. I don’t think they’d crack the top 10 in receiving groups, though. Puka is really good, not great. Davante Adams turns 33 this year in a league where you can barely find 35 year old receivers anymore. Tutu Atwell is fine, he’s stepped up admirably when there have been injuries. The rest are just guys. Some of their production is Stafford being a great QB. I think Presley has a good shot to make the roster. They need that slot guy.

I would definitely argue Puka isn’t great. He could easily lead the league in receptions and his blocking is phenomenal. At 32 Adams still was the best route runner in the league (with amazing hands). I wish Brennan had made the 53-man roster, but preseason is just that. It’s much safer (especially with the other shaving guaranteed money) to go the route the Rams did. I do t think he’ll be on the practice squad too long, but initially, I can’t blame the Rams.
