Oliver leads the Cowboys in sacks. The Cowboys lead the country in sacks.
OU looking pretty stupid not recruiting this stud. Probably would’ve left em anyways though.
He didn’t have enough stars.
I think OSU should be landing 6-8 4 stars a year but I’m all for keeping Oklahoma kids in Oklahoma. Especially on defense.
You know that 2011 offense had a lot of key players from Oklahoma, namely Weeden and Blackmon but also Josh Cooper, Tracy Moore, Jeremy Smith, Kye Staley, David Glidden and Colton Chelf. The local boys tend to show out.
I say specifically defense because we tend to get better recruits on offense. Lately that hasn’t been the case though.
What a great kid to have on the team. I hope he sticks around for all four. He has a future. Speaking of Ogbah I don’t know how he didn’t kill the Saints backup QB.
He’s only gonna be here for 3 would be my guess with how his freshman year went. NFL bound for sure.
He will have a bag of money if he keeps this up.
I think Oklahoma kids are probably underrated/undervalued because they don’t play in traditional football states.
I agree I’m all for keeping Oklahoma kids here. I think we need to try to get better recruits when we can but if it’s even money give me the kids from Oklahoma. Just my opinion but I think they play harder playing for their home state, and let’s be honest Oklahomans are just tougher in general.
Oliver weights what now? 230 ? By the time he hits his Jr season probably 260 and keeps the speed and athleticism, he should be a high pick as an edge rusher. Kid does have a motor
We must continue to strongly recruit in-state players. Lincoln liked to go national but BV might try to cherry pick top in-state talent. We must be very vigilant and continue to recruit Ok very hard.
