Conference realignment thread

Every board needs one of these.

Divisions go away in the ACC, they maybe add 2 to get to 16, go to pods.

The acc would add 2 who would be the targets? West va, Louisville, Cincinnati? UConn?

This is about the AAC not ACC.

Louisville is already an ACC member. Cincy and WVU would be the next most logical. I would assume politics keeps directional Florida’s out.

I don’t see any way WVU goes to the AAC. I have a good buddy who is an alum (sorry, small sample size) and he is very happy in the Big 12. Not that they wouldn’t be more happy (shorter travel, traditional rivals) in the ACC or even Big Televen- but those conferences chose not to invite WVU, a fact not lost on them.

What was AAC financial last fiscal year? I don’t think they made nearly the same amount as the Big12 did. Money makes realignment

Coworker explained to me that the big 12 is doing well because of our time zone and that Pac lost out for that reason. I fear that could happen here if this comes to fruition.

Im on board with adding CU, Utah, UA and ASU.
