You know without a shadow of a doubt that the defense in 2021 is what carried the team and coaching staff as an entirety. Then the only thing you have to show for that entire season is 19 straight completions? We also ranked 64th offensively in 2021. I definitely know Dunn and Dickey were there for that.

Since you are a goggle man look up what we were when healthy joy. We were good most of the year until injuries hit. We weren’t like the Weeden offense but we were good enough to win games
For years the offense carried the team , we had chitty defences. Try to digest that a little

I never said you liked Dunn or Dickey, but since you want to credit 2021’s success with those two I’ll go ahead and credit them with the 64th best offense that season. Are you completely on that bandwagon? Maybe not, but the matter still remains that you’re trying to discredit the defense that year for one bad first half and ignoring that the best defense in the Gundy era is what carried that team in basically every single game that season.

The difference here is Weeden was a conference champion. I’m sure he could’ve figured out on his own how to gain a yard or two to stay undefeated or win a championship (which is basically what prevented us from beating Iowa State and Baylor).
You must sleep upside down at night joy, you are light headed when you wake up. I never said the defense wasn’t great that year but they had lapses. I’m going with Dicky and Dunn because that’s what we have. I’m not going to cry everyday because we didn’t change them. Offense won the uo and ND games after we fell behind. Defense was good second half, but why did it take a half to figure it out ?
We overcame the loss to ISt, they didn’t factor in it. We still won the regular season
Weeden had a much better line and a better arm. You still deny Jackson should havd turned it upfield
