Cade’s status for Saturday is “questionable” per a report.
Seems like very little upside to playing him tomorrow. I say rest him, let his teammates beat W.Va. without him; and get ready for Big XII tourney!

I’m not sure it matters if he plays in the Big12 tournament. I would save him for the NCAA.
Rest him tomorrow regardless of how the ankle feels. What’s the point? Another win would be nice for the stat padding in terms of ranked wins, but they’ve already done more than enough and a win or loss will do nothing to their conference tournament placement. If you want to try to make a run for a higher NCAA seed, you can go for it in KC. No point in playing him tomorrow.
This isn’t exactly breaking news. We all saw him sprain his ankle in the game.
It’s news that it’s nothing worse than that.
