Eliminating Preseason polls is really kinda silly. Ok, let’s say somehow, college football overcomes the idea of free speech/press and eliminates Preseason polls. After, the first full week of play, the poll would be almost exactly the same as the preseason poll minus a few upsets and games vs 2 ranked teams. Ok, you say, wait until after the first month. Well, after the first month Ohio St will have played Akron, Western Michigan, Marshall and Michigan St. Those results are still not inclined to tell us a whole lot. In week Zero, #10 Florida St lost to Georgia Tech in Ireland. The game itself was interesting how Tech controlled the ball and clock, but I think it becomes more interesting that Florida St was ranked #10 (a preseason playoff pick) and got knocked off. The Seminoles looked very average on both sides of the ball and have along way to go to get into the playoff. In the end, the pollsters sort out the season very well and it comes down to wins and losses. I think teams like Georgia, Alabama, Ohio St should have an edge, because of their history.
It’s Monday of Game Week and my Daily Bullets haven’t dropped yet. Is this a precursor to how the season is going to go?! 
If I ever make it back to Broken Bow/Idabel area I will most definitely check out Phat Tabb Barbecue. I was born in Idabel, but have only been there twice since then and that was coming back from Nawlins once and Florida the other time.

That’s a little geographic bias since he’s from WV and played for them. Don’t need to give Utah any motivation. I would say K-State also, but having to replace 4 O-line starters??? We all found out how difficult that is…
