Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news. OSU Bullets • Ollie Gordon didn’t announce his future plans when asked yesterday – and appears to be set to make the decision “on (his) own time” (PFB) • How Ollie Gordon became OSU’s eleventh-unanimous All-American (PFB) • Alan Bowman is in process with his application for another year of eligibility but he’s currently got his eye on the prize remaining on the calendar (video of the interview here): “We’ve still got one more to come out on top. You know, have a 10-game winning season and that’s all I could ask for with them.” [PFB] • Daton Fix likely returning soon, Luke Surber is up in the air (PFB) • Some encouraging predictions – clearly the Pokes will end up with some players coming in: Current up-to-date projections on four transfers Oklahoma State has offered. #GoPokes Per:@On3sports pic.twitter.com/Q0EnIuSCT5— OrangeVZN (@OrangeVZN) December 14, 2023 Non-OSU Bullets • Why millennials are dreading motherhood • Which cars have the best resale value?

Hope Bowman gets into the portal. Otherwise one of our young QBs is gonna hop in.

RE Ollie, he’s probably gone, and already got multiple 7-figure offers. CFB has completely LO$$$T it.

You could be right. I would say 100% right if Ollie had a low chance of making it in the NFL. Someone like that should go for the big bag o cash when the opportunity presents itself. However in Ollie’s case he IS going into the NFL so that isn’t a consideration. I’m thinking that the consideration now is what team/situation has the best chance of ensuring that he is taken in the 1st or 2nd round of the draft. Given that and OSU’s history with tailbacks he might think he is not in that all of a bad place to get to the NFL and the big payout. Who knows though there are certainly other bigger named programs who can get him there as well.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but RBs are not going in the first round much these days. I’m not advocating that he leaves, but CFB has just turned into a money grab.
