Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news. Three Thoughts • PFB got their hands on new wrestling coach David Taylor’s contract – exciting to see OSU getting serious and paying more than anyone else in the country for a wrestling coach (PFB) • As realignment starts to swirl again, it’s fun to look at what options each school has – and while the Cowboys are already part of the Big 12, is adding Clemson and Florida State a win for OSU? (247 Sports) • Hesitation to embrace the Cowboys as a contender this fall is reasonable considering the numbers ESPN shares – but they still won and returned so many tell you another story. Despite the abysmal start, OSU finished the year 28th in offensive SP+. But the defense ranked 69th, its worst performance since 2018. It would make perfect sense if Nardo needed a trial-and-error year… [ESPN+ $$$] Two Quotes • Nolan Schubart as a top-ten pick feels like a reasonable take to me: In case you were looking, here’s our “way too early” 𝗠𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗧 for the 2025 #MLBDraft. :writing_hand:t3:http://bit.ly/4fbW5uU pic.twitter.com/ZkkwmyUnKW — Perfect Game USA (@PerfectGameUSA) July 19, 2024 • Two…

I’m not sure I would want to expand the B12 by adding Florida St and Clemson. Florida St has already shown it’s not a good partner in a league. Rumors are if these two joined the league they would get a bigger cut. We just ended OU Texit. Why replace them with two schools that would be just as demanding? I understand, they they would raise the B12 TV contract, but at what cost? As well, if we add those schools, then we have diminished the chances of winning the conference and going to the Playoff. I’m good with the current conference of peers, which has no school, with a highly advantageous edge to winning.

Seems like another Texas . We’ve already got a piece of Florida anyway. Way more interested in Pitt, UV I doubt UNC Would come our way. Is Clemson looking for more than the rest of the leagues share too ?

I’m not sure about Clemson. FSU has done all the brash talking and lawsuit. Clemson, seems to be in step with them, but making the Seminoles pave the way. So I just don’t know. I think Clemson would be a better partner than FSU, ……

Clemson would be the better team “ if.” We add another one. A big F you to Florida St They cheat worse than the goons. I read something about Yormark wanting to surpass the SEC and B1G. That’s talk , I won’t ever see it
