Cowboy golf at 303 is really not good. But no reason to give up on them just yet.
Two more rounds to hopefully get a chance at one final round – all with the goal of getting into the Top 8.
No one played well yesterday, but Bo Jin (80) and Preston Stout (79) were most disappointing. Stout is a freshman who had his round unravel early – which is when we needed Jin and other fifth-year seniors to step up, yet Jin bogeyed five of his last six.
Might see Bratton insert Hazen Newman into the line-up for Jin. Who knows?
But Pokes need two under-par rounds to salvage a chance to play a fourth round. Get into Match Play (Top 8) and anything can happen!
