I was wondering if the search firm was focusing on coordinators when they mentioned the SEC coach with OSU ties. Are they not going to let the new coach hire his own coordinators?
One would think that part of the interview process would be for the candidate to present a plan/vision on how they would turn things around at OSU and that could include noting who the OC/DC and other coaches might be. I could see Weiberg mentioning Knowles as a potential candidate since it appears that he might be looking for a job after this season. However I don’t know man. I’m just an alum and fan and the folks running the show seem to be a different breed.
