Forgive me for the ignorance, but what exactly is the point of the INFLCR partnership? At a base level, I get that it “allows players to voice their brand” because literally every coach who talked about it used that exact same sentence, word for word, as if it had been prompted from a script or something. But what exactly does it do? I’m not sure how allowing players easier access to pictures will lead to improved fan attendance, but I guess I’m reading this way too thinly to get exactly what the point of it is. Is it a way to organize the use of a player’s likeliness for personal profit? Or what?
