For the first time this season, OSU went old school Big 12.
We’re giving up 34.6 ppg over their last 4, which would ranked dead last of any team Gundy has ever had if it carried through the season. Kind of unfair to include Texas’ total with all the points that the offense/ ST gave up, but still. No idea what’s going on lately, but they need to get their act back together. The coverage is still good, but it’s tough to stay sound in the passing game when you’re giving up 5-6 40+ yard carries every game. They’ve got to figure out how to wrap up along the line because it seems like every single time a back gets passed the line, they’re taking it to the house.
The 2013 OSU defense gave up 40 points or more one time through the entire season. The 2020 defense has given up over 40 points in 3 of their 8 games this season. The 2013 defense (and team overall) is better than the team that was fielded for 2020.
Riley cant make it thru this season, got stoops coming back. There not going to play this week anyway.
