I was yelling at my friends, why didn’t someone call for a fair catch on that?! Then seconds later it was pointed out Jones did but I didn’t see it. Nebraska had a straight-on kicker in mid 1980s who BOOMED kicks hundreds of feet high in the air. One of our guys fair caught that around the 13-yard line. The guy was built like an offensive lineman but maybe 30 pounds too light to play center (at least 250 lbs though) and had the most fair caught kickoffs in history I think. I was kinda surprised our guy who called it, like Jones who was well coached, knew that rule!
