Despite Slow Start, It's Not Time to Panic for OSU Hoops

OSU’s two losses have come by a combined 4 points.

One thing that has hurt this team was a shortened nonconference schedule. Didn’t get them the usual amount time a young team gets to gel before the gauntlet that is the Big 12. Hopefully they can turn it around.

2 conference games where the Cowboys had a legit chance of winning, one of which against Texas, who on paper should have won by double digits, shows promise for this team improving depending on well they get coached from now on. Still struggling to find the right starting lineup because of the lack of enough pre-conference games. We are seeing the fallout from that. The mistakes we are seeing would hopefully have been remedied by now if there had been a full pre-conference slate. So at this point I am not blaming Boynton and his staff. We might see much better play by the second half of the season. The talent is there.

Very good point Jarrod. Those non-conference games and tournaments are important.
