Does anyone else here fish? I just started back up again recently, as my in-laws have a place by Grand Lake. There’s a lot of Crappie and Catfish and a few bass where they’re at. Post your pics if you want!

I bass fish often here in the dallas area

I’m thinking about getting into it. Drove by Skiatook Lake the other week and it’s been on my mind since. Any advice for a novice? I fished as a kid and I did some spear fishing in Belize but that’s about it.
Was really disappointed this year, went to lake Eucha for the perch spawn, and it didnt happen on the full moon of May like normal, so I missed out.

We are not the same. I tried fly fishing down there and it just… doesn’t. Put me in a mountain stream
Well not all of us own ranches in the mountains!
Of course it’s better in the west… but I take what I can get.
And fighting off the locals is the best part of fishing the Blue.
As long as they’re not too jacked up, you’ll live
