The relative size of a football team versus a basketball team is what makes basketball so much harder to turn around. You might only need one or two really good players on the court, but those types of players are harder to come by in the portal, and more importantly, chemistry of five players versus 22 matters more, and how the players gel and play together.
Completely disagree. 5 Million in football gets you nothing. 5 Million in hoops can you get you 2 superstars and 3 average Joes.
Disagree with this too. The offensive line needs chemistry. The defensive backfield needs chemistry. The QB and receivers and RBs need chemistry. You have more places for major flaws to develop. You have several group dynamics to establish instead of just one.
That’s a little reductive because your rotational lineups need to work as well in basketball, but that applies to units in football as well.
Tell me where I’m wrong. What has Lutz changed so far during conference play?
Hey champ,
I’ve put some thought into it. Probably misformed in the womb. Maybe fetal alcohol syndrome.
This genuinely made me laugh out loud.
Thanks for proving my point again. You can’t, so you resort to name calling or throwing dirt on a person’s character because of your own insecurities. This isn’t anything new.
Hey champ,
Make a serious post sometime and I’ll give it a serious answer.
I did. I said “Tell me what Lutz has changed since then?”. You either couldn’t comprehend it, or you don’t know
.
You sure about that? I’m not sure you could get two hoops “superstars” for 5 mil. Not when hoops schools like KU, UM, Duke etc, and about 20 other who care more about hoops than football are bidding against you.
That depends on what your definition of Superstar is. Regardless of what you think the dollar amount is for a player, its simple math really. Football has 22 starters. Basketball has 5. Your dollar stretches much further in hoops than it does in football
