Yeah but that is deceiving as well. TCU has already signed five 4 star recruits in their 2024 class already. At OSU we’re sitting with a big fat zero in that category. Btw that’s also wrong. TCU is ahead of us by a spot, and even Kansas was able to get a couple of 4 stars. Tech has just as many 5 stars as OU right now.
We sit at 7th in the Big 12 as far as recruiting goes. Schools like Kansas, Tech, WV, and Iowa State are ahead of us in the conference. 2024 Recruit Big-12 Football Team Rankings

Lol you and your rankings. I will say right now i dnt think we will get a four start this year. Doesn’t mean i don’t think we got good players. Lets compare a couple of guys, both rank 88. Kansas guy has 3 offers, our guy has 32 offers with 21 of them power.
Go look up a guy on 247. You will see 247 mite have him as a 82 but his composite is 85. That the other sites have him as atleast 86. I just showed these numbers. Could have been 4 stars. In my example 1 site drops him lower. Who is rite the other 3 or the 1.
Look at zane the qb. With all he did he should have raised to a 4 star.
With uneven player number you go off average. Because we got still 6 months plus to go. 6moths for hs kids and 9 for tranfer.
We got to kids from texas that have offers from texas. One had a visit coming up and declined it a week before.
I know you cant but you have to evaluate the player. Not every player will play for the team they are signed with.
You where going on about the players tcu got in tranfer, 3 were from Alabama. One was a lineman. Ranked like 98 out of hs. Transfer was like 91 or 92. They think he wont play this year and call him a project. But his twin brother went to Alabama has played was ranked 92 out of hs.
For years we have low recruiting numbers and won. Which is it great evaluation on our part or great coaches.

The guy can definitely move. Good fit on the edge in the 3-3-5. More impressive than I thought he’d be.

If this kid was any good he would have had offers from other power 5 schools. I don’t look so much as rankings as I do which schools are after someone. Inability to get 4 star talent is a roadblock to success. Successful programs chase 4 stars. Our recruiting results are pitiful. This season could be a real embarrassment and setback our recruiting even further. I wouldn’t place a bet on any of our games.

Kansas is getting four stars and Gundy can’t or won’t. Kansas dude!!! Even half the four stars we got from the 2022 class are gone.
