Question:
Do you think Ollie Gordon will average closer to 20 carries a games or 25 carries a game? It might not seem like much, but the 5 extra carries will add 60 more to his total. The difference between 240 carries and 300. If he averages 6.0/ carry then it’s the difference between 1,440 and 1,800 yard totals.
I’m pretty sure that if we see OG hauling the rock 30 times a game it will probably mean that the rest of our offense isn’t working all that good. Also everybody is going to key on OG so getting to 6.0 avg a carry may be difficult. I hope not and I am excited to see him in action this season. It could be spectacular.

I never mentioned him carrying the ball 30 times a game, but I think if we are in a tight game, he may see 30 carries in a game. As far as his average, I’m just approx. using his average last year of 6.1.

A tight game , yea he’s going to get more carries. Most defenses will key on stopping him, the reason Gundy says when they stack the box , Owen’s, Presley, and others should have a heck of a day Bowman should have time to throw it too with our veteran line

Sorry didn’t say that you did and didn’t mean to imply it. We know the goal is 20 so I just added some possible reasons why 30 may happen that’s all.

It’s all good. when Oliie carries 25+ last year we are 7-0, having an elite back causes DCs all kinds of fits when you play 3 WRs. Defenses will have to pick their poison.

I think a lot of that depends on how good the Indiana kid is plus Sesi Two different styles of backs that could make. a different. Sesi being the scatback would be good when the D is sucking air
That’s right Mike keep the ball out of your best players hand. The msn is the best coach in the country at this. Gundy’s daycare should be the name on their jerseys.
