This will be good.
I love the scouting review on Cade, it hits the nail on the head. 99 times out of 100, when you tell a 18 year old kid that he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread over and over and over, he’ll get to college and try to make the home run (or slam dunk in this case) plays every time he touches the ball. Cade almost seems like he knows what’s going to happen before it happens. He’s methodical, smart, and just takes what the defense gives him, which is super rare for a freshman. He hasn’t pressed at all, and he’s averaging 21, 7, and 4… I can only imagine what the dude could do if he went into takeover mode…

Not only that but he’s the hardest worker in the room, too! (Which is what Michael, Larry, and Magic did)
Tough matchup - 3 senior starters, a lot of size and bulk inside, and a 6’11 freshman averaging 17 ppg. This game will tell us a lot about this team.
I think this young team is not yet ready to face a team like Marquette. I predict that this could get ugly.
I would hope to see OSU begin to confidently take control of games. Maybe Cade doesn’t do everything but surely he can give us a swagger, the confidence for the whole team to play with maturity.
