What is the magic number to keep this guy? $2 million? $2.5?
Texas is paying their’s 1.8. It all depends on how desperate the school is. And how desperate we r.
Is he worth 2 mill to us.
What would this defense look like with no virus. Just with the 2 linebackers gone.
The other school know they can get players for him.
Can he maintain a top 20 defense. Do we pay 2 mill for a 30 ranked defense.

When we win on Sat, we should make it to the CFP. Assuming we do, that’s a minimum of $2 mil to OSU. Obviously excluding merch sales, future tix sales, etc. These kids love to play for him, I don’t care how many 3* super seniors we have. The 2’s and 3’s have been on the field significantly this year as well. Of course, you pay him! He got us to the party, and we need to keep him.
I like Gundy, but I believe that knowles leadership is primarily responsible for changing the culture of this program. It’s infectious!! A few weeks ago, even on this site, there was talk of us having the opportunity to face Bama in a new years six bowl. Now we’re looking at a potential CFP. We’ve all sold them short. In Knowles recent interview, he spoke primarily about confidence. Getting them to the level that they absolutely believed in their mind, without a doubt, that they could stop anyone.
It reminded me of one of Goethe’s cuplets… “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it”.
This guy is the real deal. We need to pay him!

When u hear the players talk they talk about the other players. The super seniors are the most single reason we are here. If u think other wise ur smoking the the same stuff the ou fans that think gundy is going to norman. Even on offense.

Which super seniors are you talking about? Is it Lacy, Ford, Waltershed, Jernigan, Etienne, Sanders, Richardson, Harper, Taylor, JP Richardson, Green twins, Presley, or Bray? I’m disappointed in you Robert. You’re generally much more confident in our team.
I’m certain of this…if ou stays in the big 12 for 3 more years, we own them…

I’m trying to be a lil realistic. I mean, where would the offense be with out Danny, Warren and Martin.
And defense with out the 2 cb and 2 lb.
I have not once said not to give him a raise and contract. I’m curious about how far people want to go.
Ar1 aka jug wants to pay him 5 mill.
It’s not unreasonable to confront these yahoos.
I’m completely confident in our players. Just not so much in Knowles repeating top ten numbers in 3 year with out super seniors.
Ou is in more trouble then they think. Reality will set in soon.

The Grinch was making $1.4. I still don’t understand Lincoln taking him with him, but I’m glad it’s not Knowles. No defense at ou has been successful since Venables. He’s making $2 mil, and even though Clemson is terrible this year, the D still performed at a high level. So realistically, I think Knowles is somewhere between 1.4 and 2.0. 1.5-1.6 should get the deal done.

Of the PFF all Big 12 first, second, & third teams, I count 10 defensive players from oSu. That is almost an entire unit. That reflects so well on the entire defensive coaching staff. Gundy might want to consider a Brady-esque move. lol If you have to take a pay cut, pay this man!! lol
