This is Brock’s third season-ending injury.

Hate to see that. Kaid is an incredibly tough kid. He had national championship potential until injuries cut him down. Is there any chance Gfeller could get down to 141? I like Dusty Hone, but G has a much higher ceiling IMO.

Really bad for Kaid who will always be remembered as a freshman pinning OU’s Brewer, the defending NCAA champ. Another Cowboy who never got to reach his full potential because of ongoing injuries. With amount of injuries Kaid has had I would not expect him to continue his career.
I hope Gfeller is not injured. He needs to fill that 141 spot.

Great point. Kaid gave the program one of its most fun moments this century with that pin of Brewer. Absolute classic.
I did not see Kaid Brock as being in contention for a NCAA championship or even a top 4 finish because I always thought he was too small to compete at 141. He also was never the same after his injuries. Wipe away the string of injuries and he would have been a contender if at a lower weight.
