Yes, I did call for Dunn and Dickey to be gone. Dickey in particular because we’ve been struggling for almost four years to run the football. So why would I not rant about him? If you think Dunn is too valuable then he needs to be the WR coach again. Because Dunn’s done nothing but prove for almost four years he’s not an OC.
When have we struggled to run the ball. Dickey is on his 3rd 1000 plus plus running back.

Outside of 2019, we’ve not averaged 5 yards per rush, until now. In fact, our best rushing season was in 2021 at 4.6 yards per pop. In 2019 Dickey enjoyed the fruits and labor of Josh Henson and John Wozniak. He’s not had a single recruit of his own drafted or even signed by an NFL team. I know you guys don’t like to admit it. He’ll be in year 20 and all we’ve asked for is a second conference title. Even Kirk Ferentz did that at Iowa in his first six seasons. So it’s not like it’s impossible to get a second one in 20 years.

So Bill Snyder had 25 years coaching at K State total. You’re right, he has two conference titles. That means once every 12-13 years Snyder won a conference title. Now, let’s state the obvious here:
It’s still one more than Gundy.
Gundy has about six or seven seasons left to catch up with Snyder when it comes to conference titles.
Let’s also keep in mind that most of the years Snyder was at K State:
Texas was still really good
OU was still really good
Nebraska was still really good.
There were more teams to competing in the conference
While that’s all good and true. It still doesn’t change the fact that K State has won two conference titles since Gundy’s last won one. I see you like to ignore that part completely, and regardless it was still done under two different coaches.
Also, Gundy has enjoyed the fruits of Texas being crap for the last 12 years (until now) and had less teams to compete with in the conference for the last 10 years (until now). The conference hasn’t gotten stronger, but weaker. Maybe he’ll surprise us and get a conference title in the next six or seven years.
