Here’s my 2 cents on what should happen:
Weiberg and Shrum need to set Gundy down and tell him in no uncertain terms that it’s time to clean house. Start with OC and DC. Any hire must be approved by Weiberg to prevent any more D2 hires. Hire an outside consulting firm to assist in this process. The OC and DC, once hired, will be allowed to hire their own guys for position coaches. This coaching staff will be tasked to recruit their butts off and Gundy can be the CEO. If Gundy refuses this plan, then Weiberg and Shrum must invoke the insubordination clause in Gundy’s contract to let him go.
