It’s been 27 years since Tulsa last beat OSU. Starting to look like that losing streak is coming to an end.

1 quarter in and thus far, Tulsa is easily the better team on the field. The scary thing is that its not even debatable.

If you had access to a time machine, which date in OSU history would you travel back to and change history? Let me give you a couple of options to choose from:
A. Travel back to a Friday evening in Ames Iowa in 2011 and do Gundy’s job and motivate the team by telling them they are going to lose the game and allow the SEC asshats to send Alabama to the National Championship game against LSU, but hey guys it’s not all bad, you get to go play in the Fiesta bowl instead.
B. Head to Norman in 2014 and slap Bob Stoops upside the head when he gets the bright idea to punt a 2nd time to Tyreek Hill (by most reports T Boone was getting his way and Gundy was history after that season, and then it happened…)
C. Travel back to September 2007 and cut the power to the press conference room just before Gundy can inform everyone his gender and age.
D. Go back to late 1985 early 1986 and lose Mike Gundy’s letter of intent.
E. None of the Above.

Coaching x and o’s aside we don’t have the talent. That’s on coaching too I know.

B. Gundy was the right coach in 2004. And he deserves the statue for what he’s done. But 2014 proved that beating OU and making bowls mattered more to OSU than competing for championships.

When noone but Hejny showed out against an FCS school, I was really worried about our talent level. Its showing.
Yea, but if we get smoked by Tulsa, don’t expect it the rest of the season.

Unfortunately sometimes that’s the only way to effect change, but I’ll be at Cincinnati even if we go winless between now and then. I never pass up an opportunity to visit BPS.
Our O-line is easily the worst in football.
And unfortunately, that’s why we can’t go for it here.
