OMG, a good playcall from Dunn. A counter off a pop-pass. Hadn’t seen that one before. I imagine I’ll never see it again, based on Dunn’s history of calling successful plays more than once.

Yea Dunn can come up with some good plays. Problem is if it works he seemingly never uses it again.

The boos were warranted. And to all the Gundy apologists, that’s why I’m ready for him to be gone. Chicken-sh_t coaching gets chicken-sh_t results.

This is easily the best playcalling Dunn’s done all year. Not sure if that’s due to having the mobile QB, or knowing he’s auditioning for his next job, but I’ll give him credit here. Too bad its taken till Game 11 to start getting it right.

I don’t get it. I get that you give players a blow now and then, but on 3rd and 4th downs you don’t have your best player in the game?
I guess it makes more sense on 4th down since it wasn’t ever going to be a snap. But why did Gordon sit all 3 plays of that drive?

That is so bad on the defense. Why is the middle of the end zone wide open? They have 1 play left and are already in fg range. Getting 10 yards does nothing for them. Such TERRIBLE coaching.

Well at least we aren’t 3 scores down at half time so I can watch the start of the second half
But the coaches gave up 4 points there. Not due to injuries. Not due to lack of effort by the players. Simply a terrible defensive play call that was oblivious to the game situation.

Perhaps you know the game better than me but afaik it could be players or coaches. I don’t really care who but whoever is in the know needs to fix it
We ran a delayed blitz with our center high safety, and had the outside safeties double-upped in coverage. The 3 safeties should have been standing on the goal line. Note that when the ball was caught there wasn’t a single Cowboy in the end zone. We should have had 5. That’s a coaching call.
Edit: There were 10 seconds left, and it was 3rd and 10 from the mid twenties. If they throw it short and gain 10 yards, they call the timeout and kick the field goal. But you HAVE to guard the goal line in that situation.
