Is anyone else excited for this game? It should be a pretty big early season test for this squad. Charleston was 24-9 last year and have a player in Riller who is a stud. He’s averaging 24.5ppg while almost shooting a 50-40-90 clip (54.2% fg, 90.9% ft, 37.5% 3pt).
(this is my first started thread, I probably did something wrong sorry)
It looks to be a good barometer of where the team is at. For what it’s worth they currently have a better RPI than us with 138 vs our 144. It will be a good win if we get it and definite step up in competition.
I’m excited about all the MBB games this year, mainly because it’s more chances for me to quite literally…recognize who people are. So many newcomers, it’s hard to know anything about this team let alone get familiar with who has the ball without concentrating.
Like… I know they are twins, but did you HAVE to name them almost the same? Help me out here Mr. and Mrs Boone!
I love that they are rotating so many bodies right now. Maybe they start limiting bench play once the meat of the season swings around but right now it’s great to get a taste of everyone’s style on the floor.
I imagine Hidde is not playing but I figure I’ll ask anyway… is he good to see action tonight?
I was wondering about CBS Sports. So, I’m assuming that’s another streaming service you have to pay for? I already signed up for ESPN+ for the $5 bucks a month since several of our games this year are on there, but I think this may be our only game on CBS Sports.
This will be our only game on CBSSN. I have full cable and haven’t figured out a way to stream CBSSN with my cable login. They’re extremely restrictive on their streaming. I think you can buy CBS All Access which is an over the top streaming service and have access to CBSSN, but that sure feels like a scam. For comparison, FOX let’s you stream basically anything with a cable login.
But bottom line, if you don’t have cable, you’re most likely out of luck watching OSU tonight.
Edit: I have Uverse, and Uverse is basically the only provider that CBSSN won’t let you stream. If you have a different cable provider, you’re probably good.
If you Google CBS Sports Network and click the first link it will take you to their streaming. Just login with your cable info. I use Direct Tv Now (streaming) but I just asked a friend for their cable login.
Thanks. I have DirecTV and I saw somewhere CBSSN is supposed to be Channel 221, but I’ll have to wait until I get home tonight to see if I actually have that channel available. I’m assuming not.
That’s the correct channel and I have it and I think I just have the basic package for DirecTV and I have it (they’ve got the most amazing late night football). So you probably have it.
