Pena’s time as a Cowboy is over after a strange few months.
That’s weird.
Since he went so long without mention of him other than personal problems, this news is no surprise. But we really needed him so this hurts. I guess he had a priority other than basketball. A real shame and I feel sorry for Boynton landing another one that couldn’t remain on the team.
Just crazy that he has so much trouble with kids every year it seems. It’s been a rough transition for him since he’s been coach to say the least.
Pena was never more than a filler scholarship and the majority of Boyntons filler scholarships have transferred. He needs to land a couple of solid transfer players since most of the high school players are committed.
