Most Beloved Pokes

Scott Verplank was a Poke…?

How many golfers have we had? Sheesh.

Marcell Ateman was my favorite receiver on that team.

Am I missing something? :man_shrugging:t2:

It was just my version of “yikes” that you didn’t know he was a Poke. Nothing more than that.

Lol. Me no play/like golf.

I’m more familiar with the recent golfers, like Mahan, Howell, Fowler, etc.

I learned WAY too many things at baseball camp in the 80’s and found it so much more fun than golf camp. The entire Ward family is top notch.

I’m just bad at it. But I’ll show up and drink.

James Washington might be my favorite Poke ever. It’s a federal crime how the Steelers use him.

James is a great one to have on the list. But I think Tylan has passed him on my list of favorite Cowboys by just a little bit.

In terms of WRs, no one tops Rashaun in my books. We’ve had others like Tylan and James and of course Blackmon who had better numbers, more wins, and more individual honors. But Rashaun was the first elite WR since Hart Lee and didn’t have the benefit of spread offenses. Not to mention, he dominated the Goons twice in back-to-back Bedlam wins for the Pokes. That alone puts him in a class that the rest can’t touch.
