Did you guys talk about the CBO report on immigration today? Tuesdays are busy.

Interesting considering what conservative friends wanted the other day. Fix immigration, reduce debt.

I didn’t know MAGA did the Congressional Budget Office reports. Who knew.
I think it’s pretty straight forward though, more taxpayers equals more tax revenue and more economic growth.

CBO has never been trustworthy no matter who is in charge. They have always been a political arm.
If all those migrants were paying taxes, that would kinda make sense. But many are not. They are drawing down benefits from programs, including social security.
I made my opinion clear that I fully support legal immigrants coming here to be self-sufficient (which means they are fully employed, actually pay taxes, and aren’t drawing down from social assistance programs).
Because the first one is bad. Second one was pretty good, start there

So how do we find out how much taxes an average immigrant pays? What is on an immigration application, are they required to have a skill? Like just normal immigrants, not political refugees.
Why are the children of Indian and Asian American ethnicities in the U.S. so smart, I wonder?
