With Christmas being so close i havent been as excited for the lead up into this bowl game as previous years, but woke up this morning ready to go!!
I’m about to head down to H-town with Jackson to cover the game. Excited about it and also genuinely curious about how it’s going to go.
I hope it’s not like the 2015 Sugar Bowl…
Probably the main reason I chose not to go, and I live here. The two bowl games I’ve attended were both against Ole Miss, so both were losses. Don’t think I can stand to hear SEC, SEC again.
100% - the only sounds I’d prefer not to hear even more than the SEC chant is a certain tune that our friends from Norman play after just about every play during football games 
Bar recommendations for Houston? Our hotel is right by the stadium so nothing is close
If any of you have time to explore, on Rice’s campus, they have a bar called Valhalla or something like that. Really, really cheap beers that are good. It’s very dive-bar esque.
Tell me about it. I hate that we’ve lost to them every time we’ve played in a bowl game.
I hope Chuba obliterates them and shoves it in everyone’s face.
