Well, it sure looks like early on anyway that Oklahoma has a ■■■■ good defense. Gulp for everyone in the XII. I guess that is what happens when you spend 1.5 million on a DC.

I mean, let’s be real. Bedlam is going to end with us getting the equivalent of Joe Pesci at the end of Goodfellas (or Casino, if you prefer). No use in sweating about it right now.

Given the general feeling I get from a lot of people, there seems to be a fanbase-wide notion that we shouldn’t sweat the fact that OU is better than us at all.
Oh, I get it. I’m just saying that this particular year is not the year we should be saying ‘this is bad news’, since we basically know how the game is going to go already. Not out of a sense of pessimism, but I don’t really see any changes happening before the end of the year, do you?
When you put it that way, no, I guess not. LOL
But we should, every year, expect to have a decent chance of beating them. At least, we should have a coach who tells our guys they are fully capable of beating OU.
Should, absolutely. Absolutely. But we don’t.
