This is why you need a reliable running game and offensive line without passing yourself out of the game, and consistently punting back to the other team. Being able to run and burn some clock, and keeping the defense from constantly having to grind while losing one of your best secondary defenders to the portal.

My thinking too. Recruited over ? He’s late getting in for me. No one can contact him till he declared ? These guys getting 25-40k , seems they can compete and sit back and just enjoy the money

Yes. It gets frustrating knowing your offense keeps forcing you into bad situation after bad situation.

Now I don’t know how much he has gotten to play this year but the one at tOSU is playing in the CFP this year. I see that as helping themselves pretty good.
I believe Bernard-Converse had one of the last pass breakups in the bama game too.
Also the shittiest part about it is if/when they make it to the NFL it will either say Ohio State or LSU and not Oklahoma State.
Yea the NCAA should investigate a lot of these portal moves but they won’t because. 1 They don’t give a rats ass 2. They are probably taking under the table payments themselves to not do anything and 3. They created the portal so I doubt they want to inhibit this wonderful invention that they created. What a S*&t Show the NCAA is
