Knowles days are limited. This recruiting higher and trying to get better doesn’t fit with the Cowboy Culture Gundy has tried to install.

I would like to see the grade per player average. I’m guessing it would be about 3.1 or so and see where we land nationally on that measure.

Ok, so I went to 247sports and of the teams that have at least 2 verbals, another 17 teams are ahead of OSU. So yes, it appears our recruiting is in an upward trend but we are still looking at 27ish or so. The truth is that we have some early commits, but will level off when our class fills out and the Baja’s and Clemson’s catch up.
FYI: I’ll take top 27th at this point.

If u take r average right now it would be better then Arkansas at 25 last year.
We still have to keep it up

I’m glad we are recruiting BETTER. My question is can a top 25 recruiting class be maintained? Or do we see this class rank drop at the beginning of the football season as it normally does?

I will hold thoughts till the end of recruiting cycle. I’m sure gundy has heard enough finally from a few disgruntled osu fans over the last years. He needed to step up his game in this area.

I still have to wait and see what Boynton does in the conference tournament and the NCAA tournament. Unlike Gundy with Bedlam every single season I can’t predict when Boynton is going to fail to win anything of significance. Now with Gundy I can because we knew before the OU game this season he would be eliminated from the Big 12 CCG and for sure eliminated from any chance at a New Years Six bowl.

There is nothing ignorant about it. Gundy eliminated himself before the season ended and Boynton still has a chance to make a deep run. The difference between football and basketball. Try to learn it sometime.
