OSU has done more with less in recruiting for a while now.

Why is our budget half as much as Kansas?
This needs to change. You can argue we’re doing more with less, but how much better could we do if we put more resources into recruiting. I for one would like to see that.

Yeah, I think we’ve significantly out recruited our ratings and I’m all for efficient use of capital, but we’ve got to at least deploy enough spend to be in the middle of the pack. The bottom is a little too tight, even for me.

This is pathetic. No reason we should be at the bottom of the P5. Should at least be somewhere in the 20-35 range. Absolutely embarrassing on the part of administration.

Kinda of throwing the baby out with the bath here. Here is a hint, championships aren’t awarded based on how thrifty you are regarding your recruiting budget. Those in charge of the funds need to understand that fact as it is clear that they currently don’t.

This explains a lot, but it is also very puzzling. Why is this the case? OSU should have the funds, given the success on the field. Clearly state law / public funding isn’t an issue, based on what OU is spending. We should be spending closer to what OU does.
So when gundy says it. Its bs but when the report comes out its wrong. Like usual your a hypocrite

I thought Chad was supposed to fund more money to recruiting a year ago ? Maybe Gundy didn’t use it. We are good at getting kids thst loved football, just wish we would take a step up
We find a good recruit that’s not under the radar and get a commit from them , here come the wolfs… that part is frustrating
Is it that the money isn’t available or Gundy just doesn’t use it ??

The budget sucks and I don’t think Gundy puts in as much effort as he should either. It’s both.

Uo out recruits us because they are bb.
Kansas has spent a lot more on recruiting for years.
Have a name is bigger the blanket recruiting.
Gundy does give out offers to 5 stars. Answer me this how many perfect “10” did you ask out in hs.
Go for a good balance class win games have good coaches. And now have the best nil money in the new big 12. Throwing money at unattainable recruits aint good. Spend more mony on portal. We cant have guys like webber and casey happen again.

OSU is one of the lowest offering P5 teams in the country. Can’t land guys if you don’t even offer.

Blanket recruitment has done nothing for kansas. Better coaches has.

Not once did I say anything about 5 stars. I want to recruit better than the mid ■■■■40s. Give me 8 4 stars a year and I’d be thrilled. There is ZERO reason we can’t recruit better than that. I could care less about a 5 star at this point cause they ain’t coming.
