What makes his choices different than Hill and Chuba? What would make anyone think anything would be different under Gundy?
Hopefully we’ll find a way to get him the ball during non-conference play next season. That way we can avoid a possible loss to Tulsa or Arkansas next season.

You don’t think Ollie will play against Arkansas ? Maybe Tulsa ? You don’t have a concept of the amount of hits a rb takes do you. We need Ollie ready for conference play

Pay attention. I didn’t say he wouldn’t play. I said hopefully we’ll FIND a way to GET HIM the BALL. Presley played the entire game against South Bama, and only touched the ball twice. It is possible for some of your best players to play an entire game, and Dunn to make sure they barely get their hands on it.
Pay attention to what I said joy. , too many carries equals more wear and tear on both you dunce. I had rather have them fresh for conference. Ollie will get carries against Arkansas

So limit the best running back in the country, and lose a game you probably shouldn’t, and possibly miss the CFP? That definitely sounds like a recipe for success and a championship on the horizon, because repeating the same thing twice when it didn’t work the first time is always good

Where did I say not play him in games you are in a dogfight joy ? Games you win comfortably or should win. Giving Ollie the ball more against S Alabama wouldn’t have made any difference. See there again you show your don’t know your football. What is your problem ? You always have something to biotch about ? Never satisfied with any sort of good season ? Did you have a stroke?

Hill suffered a rib injury and missed 3 games and most of Bedlam in 2018, so his yardage total was less; however, his ypc average was higher in 2018. Same thing happened in 2020 with Chuba. He suffered an ankle injury and missed several games. I certainly hope Ollie doesn’t suffer a nagging injury next season that causes him to miss several games, but if he does, that is not an indictment on Mike Gundy’s in-game coaching decisions.

We were in a dog fight with Central Arkansas up until the 4th quarter started. You didn’t seem to have a problem with it then. Meanwhile, Jeff and myself kept asking why we don’t get our best running back in the game. I can go back and show you the thread if you’d like me to? Or you can drop it before you get embarrassed.

Right….showing your fan base AT HOME that you have no interest in trying to come back, and win a game against a team you should be beating by 20 is always a good idea. Especially when you do it in front of boosters.

No one and I mean no one has said 7-5 is good , not even 8-4 every year. I don’t think the administration is even good with it. Do you really think we could have beat Texas this year heads up unless we got a bunch of turnovers and things go our way ?
