Sophomores and a freshman. Bring it home Pokes!

On FFJ’s win, I’ll point this out: both players DOUBLE BOGEYED the first playoff hole. The article inaccurately says they both bogeyed.

The Ole Miss match was, undoubtedly, some of the ugliest golf I’ve watched – but it was impossible to stop watching!

What a win!

I GUARANTEE Pokes are coming home with the national title today!

(By the way, lost in the “ugly” was Preston Stout thumping the individual champion, 5&4!)

More for regulars here: Bratton typically walks with Stout and assistant Nolen Stratton walks with Fang. So, for 18 holes, FFJ, as a freshman, was on his own.

FFJ, with a 2-hole lead, 3-putted #16 in regulation at a point it really looked like he was about to close out the match. Then, again with a chance to end the match, he 3-putted #17! It get’s better: he shanked a chip on #18 and his next shot came back to his feet…losing the hole and going to extra holes.

A bogey would’ve won the first playoff hole, but FFJ missed ANOTHER short putt there.

FINALLY with a coach alongside him, FFJ hit an incredible shot to 8-feet and made the putt for birdie and ended a mentally exhausting match!

I like this kid!!

Should’ve been over after the Ole Miss shank out of bounds on 18. Play real golf

Are you sure we are talking about the same team? Because your boy, Carson Cunningham, seems to think Chad should “shake things up” and fire Bratton.
