I am hoping oSu can put a serious beat down on them. Maybe the rest of the nation will take notice. In all seriousness, they really have no idea of who a good team is or isn’t. Just look at the story and the standings.
They had oSu unranked to start the season. Jut last week they had Oregon at #4 and Mich St at #7 . Try and convince me they really know…
They had an article mid season on here at the preseason and currently ranked teams at the time. Pretty sure by the end of the season it will be much worse.

Agree. I realize it’s a long standing tradition, but there’s really no reason to have any rankings until at least a month into the season.

I have been on that train for a long time. Once the teams get put in to the top spots they don’t ever leave. Just look at the rankings over the last ten years. It hold true for the top five most of the time. At least the SEC teams.

Gundy is 1-3 as a favorite. Hopefully he improves that to 2-3.
