- Barry Sanders
- Thurman Thomas
- Chuba Hubbard
- This was difficult for me. Struggled between Tatem Bell and Joseph Randle. Chose Tatem Bell.

Kendall Hunter was a 2 time All-American. So I would probably put him 3rd. And then Chuba is 4th.
Where’s Nathan Simmons?
19th
Haha. I didn’t even look at the picture you posted and was trying to be a smartass. Didn’t know he was actually that high on the list.
Gotta have Terry Miller. And then the 4th is Hunter or Fenimore, depending on whether you count him as a running back and are willing to scale stats for era and style of play. Would love for Chuba to to carve his place on the mountain this season and knock Fenimore off.
I feel your pain. I was there during that debacle. I remember Tony Lindsey being superhuman during his Freshman year. Everything after that became a bounce pass.
I should have gone with the more obscure Rafael Denson reference. Although I did like him because I got a head nod from him in the library.
Look are we going career or off single season performances
Barry Sanders
Thurman Thomas
Terry Miller
Kendall Hunter
It’s a subjective topic, so feel free to chime in either way. Just be prepared to defend your opinion.
It doesn’t matter really. Whatever you want. And then what Gary said…
If we’re going full career production:
Barry
Thurman
Terry Miller
Kendall Hunter
If we play this year, I think Chuba moves onto this list.
Peak performance/talent:
Barry
Thurman
Chuba
The fourth here is tough for me. I think there are arguments for Hunter, Miller, and Joseph Randle, so, pick one I guess.
Sanders, Thomas, and Miller are non negotiable members of the group. Can’t be replaced. It’s like Washington, Lincoln, and Roosevelt on the real Mount Rushmore.
Jefferson instead of Roosevelt, but exactly.
That’s like your opinion man dot gif.
Barry
Thurman
Terry
Chuba
Hopefully after this year. Without this year, then no.
Barry
Thurman
Miller
Fenimore
