OSU vs. UMass Lowell Game Thread

Early game today (tip-off at 4 pm CT) against the fighting UMass Lowell River Hawks. Hopefully OSU has figured out their energy levels because the past two games have been a little rough on that front.
Vegas has OSU favored by 17 and KenPom has OSU favored to win by 16.

Here is the KenPom breakdown for the game:

UMass is 2-0 and coming off of a one-point win at Dayton. On offense they do a great job of not turning the ball over and they are pretty deliberate with the ball. The River Hawks also do a good job of crashing the boards and getting extra possessions. They like to slow down the game on both ends of the court. Overall they are a pretty short team, with no players who have seen the court this year being listed over 6’-7".

OSU should win as long as they play with the same intensity of the first game. Overall OSU needs to work on being more efficient from deep and reducing the number of turnovers, the team is elite on defense (#10 overall) but needs to catch up on the offensive side of the floor. Hopefully Avery also figures out what’s going on and ends his slump today.

Does UMass-Lowell typically play a zone defense?

I assume they will run it against us, but is that they are comfortable doing?

If we can enforce our style of play and not settle in and let them dictate the pace of play we should be good.

Does anyone use IHeart Radio to listen to games? If so what station do you use?

Never heard of it.

The ribbon at the bottom of the stream has the score reversed. But OSU is up 11-3 at the first media.
