Wonder why the big 10 didn’t go after Oregon . Did they think they could get them cheaper w the California schools in the big ten fold ?

At this point, I’m just ready for this saga to be over and done regardless of the results. If some PAC schools bolt for the Big 12, I’ll welcome them with open arms. If the PAC stays together, I’ll wish them well (expect when they play a Big 12 school).

I’m more ready for the PAC saga to be over with. Sorry I wasn’t clear on that. The ACC isn’t going to start for a bit.

I’d like to see the Pac-12 stay in tact, for me being a bit of a traditionalist I’d like to have 5 power-5 conferences would hopefully stop the big10 and SEC creating another league. Football wouldn’t feel the same. I know it would never happen but I would like to have Notre Dame in the Big 12 I feel if we could get them it would more than solidify this conference like a nail in the coffin. I do wonder about the ACC considering the SEC from what I read only wants FL St and Clemson. The big10 I believe wants Wake Forest, North Carolina, Duke, and Boston the super academic schools. I’d take Miami, GT, Louisville, and Pitt. TBH I really wouldn’t like to see more than 14 teams in a conference. I really just like 12 and having conferences to have 2 divisions.
