PFB+ Non-OSU College Sports Thread (Part 1)

And you pile on all of her comments and try to be an armchair psychologist.

I’m seriously wondering why you haven’t been banned yet. You treat people like absolute crap.

Aren’t you like 27-28, somewhere around there? You act like you’re literally 12. Do you think your behavior is becoming of an adult?

And by the way, stop lying about being called a racist or sexual assaulter. No one’s called you either one of those.

@lmand is by far one of the best posters here. I know that her posts may be too adult, or mature for you, and if so, well…bye. Go read something that’s more “Scholastic” for you.

Oh boy, here it comes!

Boy if I did that I should probably be charging by the hour. I haven’t piled on anything.

I’m 27 and am more of an adult than your Mohawk suggests. “Yes that’s really me in the picture”

All of me @leecothran and @PutACorkenIt were called racists and accused of sexual assault in our past. You don’t remember it because you weren’t called a racist or accused of sexual assault.

I’m the immature one… uhhuhhhhh.

But you did not say “thought about” you said “worry”. That is my point and what I said, be aware yes, but not to the point of worrying and let it affect you. I have verified this with many females in my life as well and they agree. Back to the point of this, if any girl is dreaming of being a football player she should be aware of the potential for teammates to rape her (just like the much higher chance of potential injury should be an awareness), but she should not let that become a worry.

So because your typical excusatory sycophants like all of your bulls***, you haven’t been banned? Wow, that will look really good on your resume, you should include it.

And I wasn’t called those things because I don’t give any sort of indication that I’m either. :man_shrugging:t2:

(That might be a you thing, but I digress.)

Lastly, did I miss when hairstyles were indicative of a person’s maturity level? I wasn’t around for that.

All right, folks, hate to be that guy but … just a reminder on our 10 Commandments of Commenting. Please be respectful of these policies and of others who are doing their part to abide by them.

1. Be a pro: The opposite of this is maybe more helpful … don’t be an amateur.

2. This is a sports bar: The Chamber was created to be a sports bar. When I think of sports bars, I think of hilarious debates about ridiculous things and a lot of fun memories with good friends. I don’t think of brouhahas over politics.

3. Debate the argument, not the person: This is a lot easier when you don’t name-call. If you have to ask if what you’re typing is a personal attack on a writer or commenter, it probably is. Don’t be mean or spiteful. Do be extremely sarcastic.

4. Community matters: It does. And we want this to be a great one. Remember that the person typing into his or her phone is a human being, has a story you don’t know and is probably trying to find a lot of the same things you’re looking for.

7. Shutting it down: We’re going to error on the liberal side of keeping threads open and not banning users. You’re all adults. Our rule here is mostly around repeat offenders. If you egregiously and repeatedly violate the spirit of any of these guidelines or if your name is continuously flagged in The Chamber for public comments you make, we reserve the right to make you take a 48-hour break following at least one warning. We will announce publicly that we have suspended users on the first violation and then name who they are on the second and third.

If this continues in the future and you’re ruining a good thing for everyone else, we reserve the right to ban you (if you’ve been around the comments section of our site, Richard Kennedy is the example here). If we ban someone from The Chamber we will write an explanation of why that person was banned.

Lee called our fanbase racist.

New conversation topic. If you could have a dream big 12 football head coaching group that was also semi plausible what would it be?

I might be in the minority, but I want Urban Meyer to go to Texas. If he goes there, there is a chance that Texas gets a lot better. But there is a guarantee that our reputation as a conference immediately gets bolstered.

Don’t laugh, but Art Briles going to Texas Tech could happen. He’s vile, full of crap, and it would be the most on brand hire imaginable. He would also make that team better which is a downside, but I want it for some reason.

Dana and Leach come back. TCU? Baylor? I don’t know, I just want to see it. Patterson and Mike Gundy are eerily similar both in prominence in the program’s history and a fairly mid-key fatigue within the fan base.

I was always glad my high school played 5A ball because the one high school in town that played 6A always got smacked by Jinx or Union. Then they went to 6A2 and got smacked by Bixby
