PFB+ Nuggets on 2021 In-State LB Collin Oliver

This one’s going to be interesting to watch: One of the top players in the state is heavily considering Oklahoma State. That player is Collin Oliver, Class of 2021 linebacker from Edmond Santa Fe.

Oliver visited Oklahoma State for junior day, a clear sign that OSU’s interest in him is being reciprocated. Here’s some notes from our talk today.

– “The visit went great,” he said. “I got to meet the coaches and just get a better feel for the place.”

– “It was really a cool weekend. I met the coaches a lot over the past year so it was nice seeing them again and checking in.”

– OSU’s message to him: “That I’m their top guy in Oklahoma and I’m a very great athlete. They think I have the talent to make an impact early.”

– Where OSU stands: “Way up there. Easily top 3 right now.”

– He has offers from OSU, Iowa State, SMU, North Texas, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado and Arkansas.

– OSU was his FIRST scholarship offer last spring. Think that will wind up being a very big deal.
