For me, OSU’s success will come down to how much Bowman and the Defense will improve (health is a given for every team).
I said this when UCF joined the Big 12: they’re a sleeping giant with their coaching staff, recruiting base, and massively growing alumni base for NIL.
I’m going to play safe and go 9-3/10-2 for OSU this year.
I will offer a potential parallel:
2010: OSU is picked to finish 6th in the Big 12 South but finishes as Big 12 South Co-champs.
2011: OSU is picked to finish 3rd int the Big 12 but finishes as Big 12 champs.
2023: OSU is picked to finish 7th in the Big 12 but finished 2nd and a Big 12 title appearance.
2024: OSU is picked to finish 3rd in the Big 12 and finishes ???

Colorado wasn’t convincing in that win and looks like they had some extra help . Gonna be a king season for them.
