It feels to me like the Board wanted Shrum to fire somebody in regard to the Four Motions issues or decided to blame her for failing to run a tight ship with regard to those issues, and she was just having none of it.
If there was anything suggesting she was directly involved in the issues, I don’t think you would have seen the parade of glowing endorsements from everyone who’d ever even been in the same room with her. Time will tell, I guess.
I just feel like OSU has lost one of the best presidents its ever had with regard to moving the university forward and promoting the university.
